Becoming one of the Luvabulls, the Chicago Bulls' beloved cheerleading/dance/pep squad, is no easy task -- but that doesn't stop hundreds of hopefuls from trying for it each year.
This year, one of those women, as portrayed in a mockumentary short released by the Bulls last week and shot during the actual Luvabull auditions, was "Sage McMurphy," played by former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Cheri Oteri.
Murphy, who says she's auditioned for the squad every year since 1995, describes herself as an "intrinsically-trained dancer" whose style is "hip-hop/dubstep/salsa/merengue/ballet hyper fusion."
You've really got to admire McMurphy's spirit, not to mention her pink tutu-wearing little dog too.
Well done, Sage!
