After receiving recent criticism for its historic lack of racial and ethnic diversity, Saturday Night Live added its first black female cast member since 2007. But as is the case with things like this, this has resulted in other underrepresented demographic groups pouting and complaining vociferously about being left out.

Latinos have been particularly harsh critics of NBC's late-night sketch show, claiming that they have not hired a Latina cast member in almost 40 years. SNL, trying to stave off any further controversy, was quick to respond by immediately hiring three Latina craft service employees and two Latinos to the janitorial staff, including one-time cast member Horatio Sanz, who is Chilean.

Sanz and his fellow, spicier crew members gave a press conference late Thursday evening in which they underscored that SNL had worked hard to make them feel at home, even going as far as to put up iconic images from a local Chipotle franchise.
